What I learned today...

I really really like tables.  And I really really like white. 

I learned this when I saw a table that a neighbor had discarded on their curb.  I wanted it but I didn't need it.  I kept trying to figure out a way to fit it into my house, what could I do with it?  I went over to look at it, I was thinking, I could paint it white! And I got very excited.  So I brought the table home.  I can't wait to paint it!!!

"Mobile" Marketing

I learned that a magnetic advertising sign on the side of a pickup truck should have the phone number or email (and what the company offers to me), spelled out so clearly that I can read it in the 4.5 seconds it takes for you to drive past me in the intersection while I wait at the red light. 

The sign I did see was an elaborate (very nice, tho!) logo with a long company name.  By the time I had read the company name (which was in the largest font), it was too late to catch the phone number.
