Trusting God, day by day...

Before I got the job offer in Washington, DC, I was learning to trust God more and more.

My hours at my job in Dallas had been reduced to part time, and I was using money in savings to pay for daily bills and expenses.  I tried to start a business or two, and brought in some money from them, but it wasn't enough.  I applied for jobs online nearly every day, went to interviews, and overall, tried to remain hopeful.

Even when this job offer came, I wasn't sure what to do.  But one step at a time, things came into place.  The house was in good shape to rent out.  I found a place to stay temporarily that wouldn't be overly expensive.  And friends are helping me, in ways I hadn't expected or even asked.

Now I found out that the five month contract was only for a three week project, I need to remember that when I trusted in God, it worked out.  They have got approval for two more weeks.  After that, I don't know what will happen.  But God does.  I need to remember that, too.
